What types of QR codes can I create with TapNN?
TapNN supports multiple QR code types including URL links, vCards (contact information), WiFi network credentials, email links, phone numbers, SMS messages, and plain text. You can also create QR codes for restaurant menus and social media profiles.
Are the QR codes I create permanent?
Static QR codes (free tier) are permanent and will work forever - they encode the data directly into the QR code. Dynamic QR codes (Pro feature) use a redirect URL that you can update anytime without reprinting the code.
Can I customize the appearance of my QR codes?
Yes! You can customize colors, add your logo, change the pattern style, and adjust corner shapes. Pro users get access to advanced customization options and higher resolution downloads.
What file formats can I download my QR code in?
You can download QR codes as PNG images. Pro users also get access to SVG (vector) format for print-quality output that scales to any size without losing quality.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
Static QR codes encode data directly and cannot be changed once created. Dynamic QR codes use a short URL that redirects to your destination, allowing you to update the target URL anytime and track scan analytics.
How do I create a WiFi QR code?
Select 'WiFi' as your QR code type, enter your network name (SSID), password, and security type (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or None). When scanned, users can connect to your network instantly without typing the password.
Can I create a QR code for my business card (vCard)?
Yes! Our vCard QR code type lets you encode contact information including name, phone, email, address, company, and website. When scanned, the contact can be saved directly to the user's phone.
Do TapNN QR codes expire?
Static QR codes never expire. Dynamic QR codes remain active as long as your Pro subscription is active. If you cancel, dynamic QR codes will stop redirecting after your subscription period ends.

Is TapNN really free?
Yes! Our core QR code generator is completely free with no signup required. You can create unlimited static QR codes, customize colors and styles, and download high-quality images at no cost.
What features are included in the Pro plan?
Pro includes dynamic QR codes, scan analytics with location and device data, bulk QR code generation, SVG downloads, advanced customization options, custom short URLs, and priority customer support.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll continue to have Pro access until the end of your current billing period. No questions asked.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment processor, Stripe. We also support Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade to Pro anytime and you'll be charged a prorated amount. If you downgrade, you'll keep Pro features until the end of your billing period.

Do I need an account to create QR codes?
No! You can create and download QR codes without an account. However, creating a free account lets you save your QR codes, access them from any device, and upgrade to Pro features.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your dashboard settings under 'Account'. This will permanently remove all your data, QR codes, and analytics. This action cannot be undone.
Can I change my email address?
Yes, you can update your email address in your account settings. You'll need to verify the new email address before the change takes effect.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset your password. The link expires after 24 hours for security.
Can I have multiple users on one account?
Currently, each account is for individual use. For team features, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss enterprise options.

Is my data secure with TapNN?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data transmission. Your data is stored securely and we never sell your personal information to third parties.
What data do you collect when I create a QR code?
For free users without an account, we don't store any data - QR codes are generated in your browser. For logged-in users, we store the QR code content to sync across devices. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do you track QR code scans?
Only for Pro users with dynamic QR codes. We collect anonymous scan data including approximate location (city-level), device type, and timestamp. This data helps you understand your audience.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Under GDPR, you have the right to access and delete your data. Contact us at [email protected] to request a data export or deletion.
